Equine Dentistry Services

Equine dentistry involves evaluating the health of the mouth including the teeth and all the tissues around the teeth. We evaluate and treat overgrowths, sharp enamel points, periodontal disease, gingivitis, and can monitor and diagnose other oral health problems including oral health related to kidney disease, ageing changes, tumours, and parasites. We can identify and diagnose advanced dental diseases including broken, or fractured teeth, and we have a great relationship with board certified veterinary dentists to treat complicated oral diseases.

In addition to dentistry, we also know that there is a whole horse behind that mouth. To that end, we are happy to perform wellness checks. Wellness services including evaluating your vaccination and deworming program, and evaluating other basic, non-emergency health issues including vitamin and mineral imbalances, and routine bloodwork. We provide vaccinations, dewormers, and treatments for non-emergency conditions.
